Are your products safe for children and pets?

Yes, our products are safe for children and pets. At Calgary Steamers, we use cleaning solutions that are eco-friendly and 99% biodegradable. If we ever need to use stronger products for particularly tough stains, we will always ask for your permission first. Your family's safety is our top priority!

Do I need to vacuum our carpets before you arrive?
​​Yes, please vacuum the carpet before we arrive. Not only does this speed up the cleaning process, but it will also help your technician to better assess and discuss items during your initial walk-through before the cleaning process starts.

How long does it take for carpets to dry?
Typically, it takes 8-15 hours for carpets to dry. However, drying times can vary depending on the weather and humidity levels. For the best results, ensure good ventilation in the area to speed up the drying process.​
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept debit/credit cards, e-transfer, and cash. We also have a convenient online payment option.​​ For credit cards, we charge a 3.5% processing fee.
Do you move furniture?
​​At Steam Well, we do not move furniture as part of our carpet cleaning service. If you would like certain areas cleaned, please ensure any necessary furniture is moved before our technician arrives. For safety reasons and to ensure an efficient cleaning process, moving furniture during the cleaning is not allowed. ​
What is your service area?
​We service Calgary, Chestermere, and Airdrie. Upon agreement, we also service Okotoks, Cochrane, Bragg Creek, and Langdon. Travel fees and higher jobs minimum may apply for locations outside of Calgary city limits.​
What is the arrival time window?
​Due to the unpredictable nature of Calgary traffic and other unforeseen events, we cannot always commit to an exact time. To allow our customers to more accurately plan their day, we provide a 3-hour timeframe in which they can expect their technician to arrive. Our technicians will notify the customer directly when they are on the way to the client's service location on the day of the appointment.
Do you clean area rugs?

Yes, we clean most area rugs on-site at the customer’s location. However, we do not clean silk, jute, viscose, high-end, hand-tufted, or shag rugs. For these types, we recommend contacting a specialized local rug washing service.

Can Calgary Steamers clean carpets in high-rise apartments?
Yes, no problem! Whether you live on the 1st floor or the 45th floor, we can clean. An elevator is required if your unit is above the main floor.​​​​​
